William “Robet” Green of Lehigh Acres, died October 4, 2010. He was a volunteer fireman in Lee County for the Alva Fire Department for several years.

He is survived by his wife Winifred “Winnie” Green, son Bobby (Patty) Horne of Cape Coral; two daughters, Sandra (Shane) Whisman of Branson, Mo., and Roberta (Billy) Byrd of Fort Myers; three stepchildren; Jerry (Teresa) Lewis of Lehigh Acres, Betti Jo (John) Heinkel, and Bobbi Jo (Ernest) White of Fort Myers; two sisters Eloise Luke of West Palm Beach and Mary Ann Burke Berwick, La.; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Jean Green.

Services will be held at the Lighthouse Sanctuary, Parkinson Rd. off North River Rd. in Alva on Saturday October 9, 2010. Friends may sign the guest book @ www.horizonfunerals.com.
