Big Brothers, Sisters to hold fundraise fete
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Florida in partnership with YP of SWFL and Fort Myers Toyota, presents the First Annual Big Boo Ball Halloween Celebration Fundraiser on Friday, October 15 from 7 p.m. to Wicked Midnight at the Harborside Event Center at 1375 Monroe Street in Downtown Fort Myers.
The 2010 Big Boo Ball will be an evening of food, fun and entertainment that will help improve the lives of countless children in our community, said Michele Guptil, president and CEO.
Connie Baublis, “mistress of the dark,” will kick things off with a chilling benediction before the DJ takes over to get the celebration started.
Entertainment includes a DJ, costume contest, an Elvira look-alike, a photographer, a face painter, and a psychic.
The Halloween celebration includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, dessert, coffee, and a full liquor cash bar. There will also be an opportunity to win prizes as several raffles and contests will be taking place throughout the night.
The 2010 Big Boo Ball fundraiser will help raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs for children here in Southwest Florida. Promoters suggest you pick out your favorite costume and join in the festivities that will impact the lives of many children in our community.
