Ethel Guntly

Ethel Guntly, 85, of Lehigh, and formerly of Hartford, Wisc., died on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010.

Her passion for music led her to become a church organist in Hartford and Lehigh for more than 57 years. She was well-known for accompanying Community Chorus, school musicals, vocals and musicals of every kind.

Guntly also had a passion for playing and watching tennis. Prior to moving to Lehigh Acres she worked as an office service manager and executive secretary to the president of Broan Manufacturing Co. She is survived by her husband, of 66 years, Fank Guntly Sr.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Frank Jr., and Judy, and Thomas and Kay; and four grandchildren, Tanya, Troy, Stephen, and Garrett.

A funeral will be held at the Christ United Methodist Church in Lehigh Acres at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15 with a visitation once hour prior to the. Arrangements handled by Farley Funeral Home 369-2181.
