To The Editor:

As a taxpayer in Lehigh, I am very concerned with current East County Water Control District board attempting to vote on borrowing $7 million at the October 18 meeting knowing full well that there will be a new board after the November election.

This current board is out of control and has proven to be not capable of making rational decisions that will affect Lehigh Acres for many years to come.

I ask that no decision to borrow any money be allowed at this time; it is not fair to the taxpayers to have a board vote on this loan. In a very short time there will be a new board that will have to be accountable for their decision. Frank L. McIntosh Sr
