To The Editor,

For the past10 years I have worked tirelessly to cut your taxes, reduce spending, and provide leadership to a board that was in such turmoil before you elected me to the first of three terms as a member of the East County Water Control District.

Citizens of Lehigh Acres took a chance ten years ago, on a young fresh faced 22-year- old kid and it has paid off in cutting your takes, reducing debt, and restoring the district’s infrastructure.

Now I am asking you again to take another chance and elect my friend 21-year-old Mike Bonacolta as a member of the board. I need Mike’s insights and leadership to help give the board back to the people.

Mike Bonacolta has shown his willingness to learn the job by attending meetings for the last two years. He is the only candidate running in this election for the seat who has learned the job and will be ready on day one to tackle the major issues facing the district. He would bring much needed leadership to the board with a fresh perspective on the budget in finding ways to cut the fat, reduce waste, and restore transparency to government.

Mike will not be a yes man for the special interest, but for the public interest. He will vote to cut spending, reduce taxes, and limit government. Vote for my friend, a champion for the working class to fight off the fat cats trying to take over Lehigh Acres.
