To The Editor:

I for one am glad that the campaign is over. I have never been so sick of negative advertising from the top, the U.S. Senate race in Florida, to the governor’s race, down to the negative and hateful emails I and some of my friends got about candidates running for the local water board and fire district.

Maybe it is a wrong way to vote, but locally, I voted for the people that the negative emails were against. I thought to myself, “there must be something that whoever sent me the email is really afraid of to have sent me such a stupid libelous email, that claimed a few of the candidates were crooks.” I was at the park for the Politics forum and met some of the people and know some of them already and voted for the very best and if they win, I think our local boards will work out just fine. There were some people Like Roaring Lion, also known as Frank Lohlein who wrote on The Citizen’s message boards a lot of untruths. I dispelled his opinions entirely because of his attack ways of putting others down. I hope he has not misled many of the elderly that he claims are members of CAITH. I think our voters in Lehigh are smarter than he thinks. That’s my two cents worth.
