To the Editor:

We have worked very hard over this past year and it is because of that hard work, and your readers’ support, that today, I am now the Representative for District 73 of the Florida House of Representatives. As of this writing, we have received 58.58% of the vote to my opponents 38.35% and 3.06%, respectively.

I am humbled and grateful by the sacrifices so many of you have made. Without all of your help, Tuesday’s victory would not have been possible. We ran a great campaign and I am very proud of my team. Clearly the voters heard us and believed in us, but most importantly, they trusted us and I am truly honored by the trust that has been bestowed upon me.

I want to especially thank my wife and family for committing themselves to this task. I could not have given the time and energy necessary to this race if I did not have their help. I also want to thank all of our volunteers, but most particularly Terry Miller and Raymond Rodrigues. They worked tirelessly on this campaign and I am eternally grateful for their help.
