Lee County Port Authority officials have announced that AirTran Airways has started Saturday nonstop service between Fort Myers and Rochester, N.Y. The service began Nov. 20.

The flights between Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) will depart Fort Myers at 10:23 a.m. and arrive at 11:15 a.m.

This is the first time RSW will have nonstop scheduled service to Rochester.

AirTran is the second largest carrier at Southwest Florida International Airport.
