In anticipation of the 2011 Legislative Session, the members of the Lee, Charlotte and DeSoto county legislative delegations will hold delegation meetings in each county.

Among the first is on Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be held at Edison State College in Taeni Hall, Room S-117 at 8099 College Parkway in Fort Myers.

These meetings are an opportunity for the public to address all of the representatives and senators for each county at once. Citizens are encouraged to speak about state issues that may be troubling them as well as any Florida laws that they may want the members to look into changing. This will also serve as an opportunity for constituents to meet the men and women who represent you at the State Capitol.

Legislators on Dec. 15 will include Representatives Gary Aubuchon (chairman), Paige Kreegel, Matt Caldwell, Ken Roberson, Trudi Williams; and Senators Lizbeth Benacquisto, Mike Bennett, and Garrett Richter.

The public is invited to attend and listen to the members and all of the speakers.
