Just a few more days until the streets of Downtown Fort Myers come to

life to celebrate the beginning of a New Year. On Friday, December 31

the River District Alliance will host Downtown Countdown Party of

the Decade. This exciting evening will feature live entertainment on

six stages, food and drink specials throughout the local businesses, a

midnight ball drop and much, much more, promoters say.

The streets will come alive with New Year’s festivities at 8 p.m. Come

out and rock in the New Year to No Way Jose, Cadence Wednesday,

Fellowbliss, Stolen Fruit, Sinyu, Let’s Go Exploring and exciting DJs

New Year’s Eve Downtown Countdown 2010 is presented by the River

District Alliance. The RDA is a non-profit organization dedicated to

promoting and enhancing the development of the Historic River District

in Fort Myers as a hub of economic, social and cultural activity. Be
