Lehigh shooting victim is identified

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said that on Monday, January 3, at approximately 1:42 a.m., deputies responded to 2905 25th Street W, Lehigh Acres, in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies learned a man inside the home had been shot and was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment.

The investigation revealed multiple male suspects entered the home prior to the shooting. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit has assumed the investigation.

The victim in the morning’s shooting has been identified as Erik J. Isacksen, 24. He remains in critical condition. Isacksen’s current address is listed as 2905 25th Street W, Lehigh Acres.
