Anita G. Cooper

Anita Gayle Cooper, 55, of Lehigh Acres died Sunday Jan. 2, 2011. She was employed by Student Assignment of the Lee County School Board and was co-owner of Town & Country Hardware.

Cooper is survived by her husband, Richard; her children, Jennifer Cooper, Stacy (Phillip) Snyder, Denise (Frank) Gonzales, Theresa (Art) Jackson, Michael (Carmel) Cooper and Joseph Cooper; and 13 grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sister, Stormy Boehm; her brothers, Billy Czekala, Randy Boehm, Scott Seager and Ross Seager; her mother, Bettye Seager and her stepmother, Joyce (Ted) Banderman.

Visitation will be held at Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home at 12777 SR82 in Fort Myers on Sunday, January 9, 2011 from noon to the time of the funeral at 2 p.m.

Interment will be in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in her name to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Florida, 7275 Concourse Drive, Suite 1, Fort Myers, FL 3398 or to the Children’s Network of Southwest Florida, 2232 Altamont Ave., Fort Myers, FL 33901.
