Alice Lillian Dorsett

Alice Lillian Dorsett, 90, who was born on January 17, 1920, in Edmore, N.D., died on January 9, 2011, at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres. She was raised in Wolfpoint, Montana, lived in many cities and different countries as a military wife, worked as an licensend pratical nurse in Terre Haute, Ind., and retired to Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Dorsett, parents, three sisters, one brother and one great grandson.

Dorsett is survived by her older brother, Ernest Stensland (Wolfpoint, Montana), two sons Richard and Robert (both in Fort Myers); two daughters, Janet and Jeanne (both in Lehigh Acres), 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

A memorial service and reception will be held at Beautiful Saviour Lutheran Church 215 Richmond Ave N, Lehigh Acres, followed by a committal at Faith Lutheran Church, 705 Leeland Heights Blvd, Lehigh Acres, on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at 10 a.m.

The family prefers memorial contributions in lieu of flowers and suggests the Hope Hospice House or a charity of choice.
