Third annual Surf and Song announced for Jan. 15

Beasley Broadcasting and Clear Channel radio stations are joining together to promote the third Annual Surf and Song Festival 2011 benefiting the Southwest Florida Autism Initiative through The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. It will be held on Jan. 15.

This all-day musical festival offers great entertainment for a wide range of music fans rock, pop, country, blues, reggae, blue-grass, jazz and more while raising funds for The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida’s autism initiative. Autism – once a diagnosis that very few had ever heard of – has become an increasingly common hurdle families are facing with their children.

The Surf and Song Festival kicks-off at 11 a.m. with more than 65 bands and musicians performing throughout the day on satellite stages in downtown Fort Myers. The main event, at Centennial Park headlined by Country Star Craig Morgan, begins at 3 p.m. John Waite of Bad English, Baby’s & Solo will also be performing Saturday night.
