Duane Johnson

Duane Johnson, 58, of Lehigh Acres died Monday, January 17, 2011.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and was the pastor at Land of Canaan Church of God in Lehigh Acres.

Johnson is survived by his daughter, Sherry (Aaron) Hand; his grandchildren, James and Joseph Mulhall and Aaron and Ansley Hand; his mother, Hilda Jewell; six brothers and sisters, Nina (Willie) Davidson, Brenda Thompson Rackham, Dinah (Michael) Sewerynow, Gary Van (Eva) Johnson, Timothy Ottis Johnson and Mary Ann (John) Ballinger; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy in 2009, his daughter Angel Johnson Mulhall and his father Ottis Johnson.

Friends may call at the Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home 12777 State Road 82 in Fort Myers on Thursday, January 20 from 10 a.m. until the funeral at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, (239) 334-4880.
