Here’s my reason to do the ‘Relay’
To The Editor;
I am participating in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life because I want to make a meaningful difference in the fight against cancer. Almost everyone has been touched by cancer, either through their own personal battle or through someone they love.
As this year’s chairman of the Relay for Life event on April 16, I am personally asking each of you to support me as I raise money for the ACS, which provides care, comfort and financial support to patients, survivors and their families. The ACS also assists families in finding the best resources to help their friend or loved one deal with a diagnosis and their journey to get well. They also are rallying communities just like ours, through events like Relay for Life, to fight back and find cures for this disease.
At this year’s event, our team will camp out overnight and take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society. By preventing cancer or finding it at its earliest, most treatable stages, the ACS is creating a world with less cancer and more birthdays. We can make a difference by teaming up to participate in this phenomenal event!
Let’s help the American Cancer Society Fight Back against cancer, Celebrate the survivors having more birthday and remember those we love and have lost to cancer.

Saving lives starts one team, one person and one dollar at a time. In that spirit, please
join my team and make a donation to help the American Cancer Society. The impact we
can make together is much greater than what any of us could do alone. We can help to
make sure that cancer never steals another year of anyone’s life.!
