Thanks to county for Lee Blvd. clean-up

By Staff | Feb 1, 2011

To The Editor:

If you should get stopped on Lee Boulevard for throwing out trash and get a $250 fine,

shame on you.

I hope the Lehigh residents going in and out of Lehigh noticed all the trash on Lee Boulevard

from Gunnery to SR82.

Then I hope you all noticed close to 100 blue trash bags of the garbage that were collected by Lee County jail inmates.

Lee County Code Enforcement, DOT, Sheriff Mike Scott’s office, and Lee County Commissioner Frank Mann, thank all of you for getting it done last Saturday.

We would like to have a clean-up once a month in Lehigh. We all should try very hard to Keep Lehigh Beautiful, especially our entrance to Lehigh on Lee Blvd.
