The Lee County Sheriff’s office today said that the driver of the motorcycle killed in the accident shortly before 9 p.m. on February 8 on College Parkway just east of South Pointe Blvd. in Fort Myers has been identified as Glen Cardona, 35, of 5314 4th Street West, Lehigh Acres.

The passenger on the motorcycle, Jessica Huber, 31, of 827 Bethany Court North, Fort Myers, was transported to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries, Sheriff’s officials said.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred when Cardona’s motorcycle ran into a minivan, causing a fatal mishap. The investigation into the cause of the accident is continuing, authorities said.
