Gisela I. McIntyre

Gisela Ingred McIntyre 70, of Lehigh Acres, died Friday February 11, 2011. A resident of Lehigh Acres for more than 26 years, she was born in Konigsberg, Germany, to Frieda and Fritz Tonot in 1940.

She met and married Ernest Eugene McIntyre while he was stationed in Germany with the U.S Army and soon after they moved to Clarksville, Tenn. They moved to Lehigh Acres in 1984 with their children, Dirk Stebich, Michaela Stebich and David McIntyre.

McIntyre was a member of the VFW Post 4174, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, the Women of the Moose Chapter 1324. She loved her bingo and socializing with her friends at the clubs but had been ill the last few years.

She is survived by her daughter, Michaela Stebich Schreier, Lehigh Acres; sons, Dirk Stebich, Clarksville, Tenn., and David McIntyre, Lehigh Acres. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Wesley Stebich, Stacy Stebich, Courtney Schreier, David McIntyre, Edward Schreier, Dylan McIntyre, and Britney Schreier.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 19 at Faith Lutheran Church 705 Leeland Heights Blvd. in Lehigh Acres. Arrangements handled by Anderson Funeral Home, 239-368-7294.
