Dema Jane Gump

Dema Jane Gump, 91, of Lehigh Acres and formerly of Reynolds, Ind., died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011. She was a member of the Indiana State Teachers Association, the White County Teachers Association, the Womens Book Club and the Home Demonstration Club.

Gump was active in the United Methodist Women and was a member of the hand bell choir.

She was also avid bridge player.

She is survived by her husband, Earl; her daughter, Earla Miller; two grandchildren, Amy Naylor and David Phillips; two great grandchildren, Emily and Myles; two step great grandchildren, J.D. and Billy, and two cousins, George Ross and John Ross.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011 at Fountain Crest at 1230 Taylor Lane Ext No. 215, in Lehigh.
