Fundraiser: Volunteers In Medicine held a fundraiser recently at the Lehigh Acres Senior Center on Plaza Drive. Shown here are volunteers who included from left to right, bake sale donations by Flo Kelly and Karen Mc Kenzie served by Cathy Olson and Lucy Gucofski. Barbeque, Bingo, Corn Hole Toss, Horse Racing, Snack Bar, Wii Bowling and other activities were enjoyed during the event by more than 200 attendees. Proceeds will be used to establish a non-profit Lee County Volunteers In Medicine clinic in Lehigh Acres for free medical care for those without insurance.
