Quilt Maker: Judy Stephenson, wife of Lehigh Acres Spring Festival Board member Danny Stephenson has made a “Special Edition” Spring Festival quilt that she has donated to be raffled off with all he proceeds going toward Karen Hoppe’s medical expenses in her fight with cancer. A story appeared in last week’s Lehigh Acres Citizen about Karen Hoppe whose cancer has returned. Her husband is Bill Hoppe, a long-time volunteer at the festival. Tickets for the raffle are a dollar per ticket or six for $5 and can be purchased from any board member or at Vicki’s Petz & More at 9 Homestead Rd.
