If you plan to participate in several of the competitions at the upcoming Lehigh Acres Spring Festival, you are urged to go online at: Lehighspringfestival.com where you will find forms and applications to signs up for such things as the adult and junior idol contest, the spring queen, prince and princess contests and baby race. You also need to sign up for the parade which will be held on Saturday, March 26.

There are dates that the forms must be filled out and sent to the Spring Festival Committee which is putting on the event.

The theme for this year’s event is “Around the World in Nine days.” The festival begins Friday evening, March 18 at Veterans Park where most of the events will be held.

There will also be a midway with rides and you can purchase tickets for the rides online at a lesser price that at the festival.

There will be cooking contests where awards will be handed out. You need to also register to enter these events.
