Congratulations from teacher: Barbara Esno, a teacher at Lehigh Elementary School, who was just recently named Teacher of the Year, congratulates the oldest graduating student, Crescencia Leon Medhurst on obtaining her GED diploma. The event took place at the Fort Myers Senior High School. Medhurst left school in the Caribbean some 40 years ago before new math was not introduced in the curriculum. She migrated to the U.S,. and joined the class at the Lehigh Senior High School adult classes where she studied the new math program with Esno. Medhurst lives in Lehigh Acres.
