Sale of T-shirts benefit neurological disease
Lehigh Senior High School Center for the Arts is supporting a month-long
Hydrocephalus Awareness campaign. Additionally, Lehigh Senior High School
sponsored a Hydrocephalus Awareness Baseball Night vs. Estero on March 3. The game was held at Lehigh Senior High School.
T-shirts are being sold by the school at $10 apiece. Individuals who would like to purchase a shirt in support of the Hydrocephalus Association to find a cure for this neurological condition should e-mail Jason Plucker at jasonbp@leeschools.net. The proceeds raised will be donated to the association.
School announces new coaches
Lehigh Senior High School Center for the Arts has announced that Dawn McNew is the new head boys basketball coach. In addition, Nick Jones is the new assistant boys basketball coach. McNew and Jones are both current educators at Lehigh Senior.
McNew is a former head coach in Indiana who won a State Championship in 2003 with a 28-1 record. McNew has been the Indiana Basketball Association District 3 Coach of the Year and the Indiana Basketball Association State Coach of the Year. Jones played Division 1 basketball at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He was an assistant coach in Tennessee and won the Regional Championship.
In addition he was the assistant coach for the Arkansas Rim Rockers of the American Basketball Association and won the ABA Championship with a 36-5 record.
