Tickets are still available for the best show in town – the Young Artists Awards Gala at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre on Sunday, March 13

The event, showcasing the area’s best performers in dance, drama, classical voice, contemporary voice/musical theatre and instrumental music, opens with dinner at 6 p.m. and the show, hosted by Lois Thome of WINK-TV, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Featured will be 22 individuals selected from two full days of auditions at the Alliance for the Arts on January 22 and 29. More than $20,000 in savings bond scholarships will be awarded. The award winning A Cappella Group from Cypress Lake Center for the Arts will also perform.

A silent auction of items donated by area arts organizations and more will be held, benefitting families experiencing the challenges of childhood cancer from the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology program at the Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.
