To The Editor:

I am the new coach at Riverdale High School. I am excited, this is my first year as the head football coach for Riverdale. My goal is to implement a football program that will make all students proud they attend Riverdale High School. I have put together a great team of coaches for Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshman.

I look forward to meeting with those in the community to discuss my plans and goals that I have set for the football program. Again I cannot state enough I need your help and support in order for me to meet my goals for the football program.

There is an organization meeting scheduled for anybody who is interested in helping or learning about our program.

The meeting will be held March 14 at 6 p.m. in the Weight Room here at Riverdale High School.

Help is needed as parents and guardians of the students who would like to participate in the football program. Sports are important to students. The structure and activities they will participate in will help them in their future to achieve as they become young adults. Due to budget cuts, we the coaches, players and parents or guardians will be responsible to raise the funds required to fund the football program.
