A two-year-old Lehigh Acres boy was found at the bottom of the pool by his father after the boy’s mother said she couldn’t find her son.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the home at 7 p.m. Friday night, March 17.

Investigators said the father began CPR on the boy identified as Adrian Hernandes. His second birthday would have been next week.

Deputies upon arrival at the home continued CPR on the boy but he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
