Call your legislative leaders and complain
To The Editor:
Let’s have a conversation about the legislation that creates “affiliated party committees” to permit Florida’s legislative leaders, to raise even more money to add to abuses that are already in the corruption pipeline.
They will donate these funds to elect people that will help them to completely control the law-making process.
Raising these funds is not the problem, it is the way they plan to distribute it in order to completely control the passing of a pre-determined agenda.
Let it be known, that it is the people’s voice will not be represented in Tallahassee.
For that reason, Charlie Crist vetoed that same bill last year. This attempt to buy control of Florida’s House and Senate should be considered a bribe (buying votes).
The voice of money and corruption speaks louder and louder.
It is drowning out the voice of “We the people.”
We want a government with checks and balances, not a dictatorship.
Please write or call Mike Haridopolos at 850-487-5529, Matt Caldwell at 239-533-2411, or Gov. Rick Scott and demand a veto. You can call his office at 850-488-7146. Email address is www.myflorida.com.
