Honda Civic stolen from parking lot
An orange Honda Civic Si with black rims was stolen from a parking lot on Pine Island Road, according to a police report.
A man told police that while he was inside Diamonds Billiards, at 1242 S.W. Pine Island Road, his vehicle was removed from the lot. He parked the car at about 10 p.m. Saturday, locked it using a remote and went in the pool hall.
The man stated that he returned to the parking lot at about 12:35 a.m. Sunday and discovered the vehicle was not parked where he had left it. He was unable to locate the Honda.
According to the report, the man said he is current on his payments, does not allow anyone to use his vehicle and is still in possession of the car keys.
The Honda is a 2006 two-door with no tint. It has the Florida tag 023-NAI.
The vehicle is valued at approximately $16,000, the report states.
