Edward R. Clark

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Lehigh Acres for Edward R. Clark, 74, of Lehigh, who died Sunday, April 10 at the Hope Hospice House in Lehigh.

Clark was born on Aug. 21, 1936 in Kansas City, Mo. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1973 with the rank of captain.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 323 in Lehigh.

After retirement from the government he was employed for many years in the automobile industry.

Clark was an avid golfer until his failing health forced him to give it up.

He had lived in Florida since September of 1988, moving here from Kentucky.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Hagan Clark of Lehigh.
