To the Editor:

I wanted to pass on my warmest gratitude to Ruth Gehring for providing free bread and pastries to the less fortunate in the community. The story appeared in The Lehigh Acres Citizen a few weeks ago and also on Lehighacrescitizen.com.

Her dedication and compassion is highly admirable. I hope that many more people are inspired to follow in her footsteps.

It is an honor to know that she is working so diligently to better serve the residents of Lehigh Acres and Lee county with the bread giveaway project at First Congregational Church on Leeland Heights Blvd. She is truly a respected leader in the community and she deserves all the positive recognition headed her way.
