Deputies searching for missing 12-year-old boy in Lehigh

Missing youth

Lee County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a 12-year-old boy who left his home Sunday after an argument.

A Code Red notification has gone out in the area near W. 12th St. in Lehigh Acres. Deputies are searching for Laurwendsky Thermidor, of 709 W. 12th St. in Lehigh.

Authorities said the boy goes by the name of “Caleb,” and was last seen wearing a white shirt and shorts with brown and mostly green colors.

Authorities say he is carrying a black backpack. He is a black male, with short black hair, brown eyes and is five feet, three inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.

The Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit as well as K-9 Units have searched the area but have not found the youth.
