Jensen reappointed to bankruptcy panel
Diane L. Jensen has been reappointed to the panel of trustees for the Middle District of Florida by the Federal Bankruptcy Court, effective April 1, through March 31, 2012. As a member of the panel, Jensen is one of only three court-appointed trustees in Southwest Florida approved to administer bankruptcy cases.
As trustee for Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases, Jensen is responsible for liquidating all of the non-exempt assets belonging to the debtor or filing a “no asset” report, as appropriate to each case. Jensen has been a member of the panel since October 1979.
Jensen joined Pavese Law Firm in 1973 and became a partner in the firm in 1978. Her practice areas include bankruptcy, real estate and estate planning and probate.
Jensen is a member and past-chairwoman of the Southwest Florida Bankruptcy Professionals Association. She is also a member of the Lee County Bar Association.
Her community involvement includes serving as a past board member and past chairwoman of the Chamber of Southwest Florida. She is an honorary life member of the Lee County Unit of the American Cancer Society. Currently, Jensen serves as director of the Pilot Club of Fort Myers and has held several offices within the organization. In addition, she has held appointments at the district and international levels of Pilot International.
