Lehigh Singers are great performers
To The Editor:
The Lehigh Singers and the Lehigh Children’s Choir under the musical direction of Candace Baranowski Sundby and accompanied by Marian Wegge performed Sunday, April 3 at Faith Lutheran Church in Lehigh.
The Lehigh Children’s Choir was founded by Julian and Candace Sundby and continues to grow and entertain audiences. Their young voices are a delight to hear. Young pianists Kylee Soltez, Sheena Heuer, Noah Johnson and Christian Dimaculangan wowed the audience with pieces from the District VII of the Florida State Music Teachers Association. These children ranging from age 10 to 14 won Level 6 and 7 honors.
The Lehigh Singers has been in existence for 50 years and their performances have ranged from Broadway and Around the World to this year’s fun rock-n-roll concert. The Sweet Spirit Gospel Quartet also sang several very enjoyable a cappella songs.
We are blessed to have many talented people in our communities who understand and appreciate how important culture is to all of us. We want to thank all of our supporters and especially Robert Bowers Accounting, Kiwanis Club of Lehigh, Majestic Golf Club, Dr. Jeri Lee Lomas, Dr. Barry Butler, Lehigh Regional Medical Center, Lehigh Kidney Center PA, Arts of the Inland, and Charles Appler for their continued financial support.
