A Lehigh Acres woman, identified as Ava Bell, 30, is dead following a single-vehicle accident at 9:46 a.m. on Thursday on Lee Blvd., just east of Gordon Ave.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Bell, who lived at 4952 Golfview Blvd., lost control of her vehicle while traveling east on Lee Blvd. because of what the Sheriff’s office is calling a medical event.

Investigators said the vehicle she was driving struck a sign and a tree.

She was taken to Lehigh Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival

The cause of the death is still under investigation, according to the report.
