To The Editor:

Congratulations to all Citizens Against Increased Taxes (CAIT) members for

a successful email and calling campaign to help persuade our state legislators to repeal HB 13 which would have made us pay $150 to have septic tanks inspected and would have led to momentous scams in replacing septic tanks which still worked properly.

No thanks to our Lee County commissioners who lobbied our legislators to let this scam on the homeowners stand thereby increasing to already the high cost to live in Lee County.
