The Lee County Sheriff’s Office today said that on May 6, at 9 p.m., deputies were called to 4302 10th Street SW in Lehigh Acres.

Upon arrival they discovered one person dead. Due to the nature of the death, authorities said the Major Crimes Unit has assumed the investigation. The victim is identified as Alphonso Alvarado, 29.

No other details have been provided by the Sheriff’s Office.
