To The Editor:

If we as parents don’t take the bull by the horns, we pay for it as our children become teenagers and fall victim to drugs, alcohol, AUDS, automobile accidents, bullying, and the use of weapons.

Then we look for someone to blame. It’s the same way with our federal, state, and county government.

We have allowed them to go astray for far too long.

These highly educated people are now acting like delinquent teenagers, where might is right and bullies rule, and no one has to answer for their actions. Meanwhile billions of dollars will be raised to re-elect thee worthless public servant back into office where they can continue to bleed their voters unmercifully.

We as voters have very little chance to straighten out this horrible mess, and if we don’t, it will be business as usual and conditions will only worsen.

Our only disciplinary tool is our vote.

And like any good parent, we must warn them first by letters, telephone calls, emails and speak up at meetings.

Don’t take this message lightly. The politicians are coming after your Social Security, education, medical aid, your taxes and your livelihood.

Just be observant where the big money is coming from and who receives it, then vote with your maturity and not your heart.
