The last Lehigh Acres Development Community Plan is scheduled for Saturday, May 14 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the East County Regional Library, 881 Gunnery Road, in Lehigh Acres.

This is the last meeting for final public review before it goes to hard copy for presentation before the Lee County Commissioners in late September.

If you have never attended a meeting about plans for future Lehigh that will become a part of the overall county plan, you may want to attend.

Meetings have been held at the library for the last couple of months with people offering ideas and suggestions for the plan.

Once it is passed by the Lee County commissioners, the plans will become mandatory for enforcement for the future development of Lehigh Acres.
