Dual enrollment parent information night set at Edison State College
Edison State College Lee Campus will host a dual enrollment parent information night to give valuable insights into the program. Dual enrollment provides high school students with the opportunity to take college courses while in high school. Students are able to accelerate their college experience while saving substantially on the cost of a college education.
All parents and caregivers of high school students are invited to attend the program on Tuesday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m. in room AA-177 at Edison State College, 8099 College Parkway in Fort Myers.
Promoters say you should not miss the chance to learn about the dual enrollment opportunity at the college and get an overview of all of Edison State College’s programs. Tours of the campus will be available after the presentation. Call 239-489-9270 to register for the event.
High school students who qualify for dual enrollment at Edison State College do not pay for tuition, fees, or books- similar to if they were attending traditional high school classes.
They are enrolled as Edison State students and receive full college credit for courses while simultaneously meeting high school requirements. Dual enrollment is open to public, private and home schooled high school students who meet qualification requirements.
