Charlotte T. Christiansen

Charlotte T. Christiansen, 93, of North Fort Myers, died on May 20, 2011 at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral. She was born on May 29, 1917 in Brooklyn, N.Y, the daughter of Casimiro F. and Catherine V. (Mitchell) Montagna.

A resident of North Fort Myers for the past 24 years, she previously lived in Port Charlotte and Brooklyn and was employed as a secretary in the banking industry. Christiansen attended St. Andrew’s Church in Cape Coral and St. Raphael’s Church in Lehigh Acres.

She was the wife of the late Victor Christiansen.

Her survivors include her daughters, Linda (Edward) Keifer of Lehigh Acres, and Susan (Gregory) Trokey; her grandchildren, Vincent, Alyssa, Christopher and Victor; her great grandson, Zachary, her brother, Francis (Lena) Montagna of Las Vegas, Nev., and her sister, Marie Oberle of Albany, N.Y.

A memorial service will be held on her birthday, Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway, Cape Coral.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that a random act of kindness be performed in their mother’s memory.
