LA Middle School employees honored

Honored: Officials at Lehigh Acres Middle School are pleased to announce two of their fellow employees were recently honored by the School District of Lee County for outstanding service to their students during the 2010-2011 school year. Each received individual praise and congratulations and was presented with a certificate of recognition by the school board at their recently held Board Meeting on May 3, 2011. Eileen Cherbini, right, was honored for her selection as the District Middle School Guidance Counselor of the Year and Mirta Medina-Pardo, left, was selected as District Middle School Foreign Language Teacher of the Year. In the center is Principal Joseph Pitura.
