Police seek leads following syringes-in-a-mailbox report
Several syringes and a spoon containing a blue substance was reportedly found in a mailbox Wednesday at a home in Cape Coral.
Police responded to a home in the 3000 block of Southeast Fifth Place. A woman told officers that she discovered drug paraphernalia in her mailbox. Two used syringes, an unopened syringe and unopened needle were seized.
The spoon with the substance was located inside of a plastic bag.
The woman said she did not see who put the items inside of her mailbox.
Officers processed the items for fingerprints, but none were located.
