Man charged with murder in N. Fort Myers case
A death investigation in North Fort Myers has now become a homicide investigation. Detectives with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit have made an arrest in the case.
William Albury, 41, of 108 Torch Terrace, North Fort Myers is charged with second degree murder. The victim in this homicide has been identified as his room mate, Judy D. Kibblin, 60, of 108 Torch Terrace, North Fort Myers On Thursday, May 26, at approximately 9:31 a.m. the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to 108 Torch Terrace, North Fort Myers, to conduct a well-being check. Officials said a citizen had called saying they believed they had seen a deceased person in the house along with another person who was threatening to harm themselves.
Deputies responded to the scene and made contact with a person in the home via telephone. That individual came out of the home, they said. Deputies then conducted a safety sweep at which time they discovered a body inside, which has been identified as Kibblin.
