Man charged with second degree murder in NFM death

By Staff | May 27, 2011

A North Fort Myers man has been charged with second degree murder after deputies arriving at a home on Torch Terrace found a caller’s fear to be true – there was a body inside the home.
William Albury, 46, of 108 Torch Terrace, was arrested after officials determined the deceased, identified as Judy D. Kibblin, 60, died as the result of a homicide.
She also lived at the residence. Her cause of death has not been released.
Deputies had responded to the residence at approximately 9:31 a.m. Thursday to conduct a well-being check, officials said. A resident, whose name has not been released, had called stating they believed they had seen a deceased person in the house along with another person who was threatening to harm themselves. Deputies contacted a person in the home via telephone. That individual, since identified as Albury, came out and deputies entering to conduct the safety sweep discovered the body inside.

The investigation is ongoing. No additional information has been released.
