LSHS junior wins concerto competition

Selena Masters

Lehigh Senior High School Center for the Arts junior, Selena Masters, won the recent Florida State Music Teachers Association’s Concerto Competition.

The competition was held on the campus of Florida State University in Tallahassee.

Masters performed V’adoro Pupille by Handel, Ach ich fuehl’s by Mozart and Ride On, King Jesus by Hall Johnson. In addition, she won first place in the Florida State Music Teachers Association Caloosa Musicale competition.

This competition was held on the campus of University of North Florida in Jacksonville. She will be traveling to Prague, Germany, to continue her vocal studies this summer.
