The Lehigh Acres Chamber Foundation and the LACC Education Committee sponsored the Celebration of Education annual Teacher Awards Dinner at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Lehigh on May 21.

The teachers from Lehigh included Joseph Camputaro, Harns Marsh Elementary; Shellee Harper, Veterans Park Academy ; Oliver Martin, Lehigh Senior High School; Sarai Miller, East Lee County High; Donna Rose Poland, Sunshine Elementary; Judy Simpson, Mirror Lakes Elementary; Laureen Slater, Varsity Lakes Middle; Kelly Stedman, G. Weaver Hipps Elementary; Lissa Stevens, Lehigh Acres Elementary; and Debbie Wright-Prashad, Lehigh Acres Middle.
