Middle School performs: The 65 member Lehigh Acres Middle School All-Star Band performed the National Anthem for the Fort Myers “Miracle” recently at Hammond Stadium. The band looked great and performed well, onlookers said. This is the second year that the Middle School Band has been invited to perform at a Miracle’s game. This year’s performance was part of the “Miracle’s” Annual Education Day in which students from all of Lee County are invited to enjoy a day of celebrating education by enjoying a day at the ball park. The All-Star Band will schedule a return performance in the fall of 2011.
