Canterbury Head of School Tony Paulus has announced that Marc Taglieri will join the school as athletic director on Aug. 1.

Taglieri, a graduate of the University of Virginia, holds a master of teaching and a bachelor of education. In addition, he earned a master of administration and su-pervision from New Jersey City University.

Most recently, he was director of athletics, physical education and health for the K-12 Cranford High School in New Jersey. In addition, he coached baseball, football and basketball.
